Our People
Our association is dedicated to promoting the sport of ice hockey in the Wellington area. WIHA exists and thrives through our members' countless volunteer hours every week.
The association is coordinated by a volunteer board and we also employ a full-time general manager who works tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of our organisation runs smoothly. Together, we strive to create a positive and inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels.

Caleb Hance
The General Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Association, supporting the growth of the club, and maintaining a strong pipeline for youth hockey.
Caleb grew up playing ice hockey in Colorado and has always been passionate about the game. He is particularly dedicated to supporting young players as they develop their skills and love for hockey. After moving to New Zealand, he was a part of the Mackenzie Bull Tahrs programme in Tekapo and has remained actively involved in Wellington hockey, first as a volunteer youth coach and now as the General Manager. Caleb also serves as an assistant coach for the New Zealand U18 Men's team.
As General Manager, Caleb focuses on growing the club and the sport in Wellington, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the association continues to progress and provide opportunities for all members. With a background in managing hotels and golf courses, he brings organizational skills and leadership to the role, driving the association forward with enthusiasm and dedication.

Documents
An important part of putting hockey on the ice is ensuring we keep our paperwork in order and that it's available to all our members. That's why we've made a range of important documents available, including our Constitution, policies, job descriptions, AGM minutes, and Code of Conduct. Please take some time to review these materials, and don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
